The Northampton chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild, based in Northampton, Massachusetts, a branch of the nationally recognized Modern Quilt Guild, was originally founded in the spring of 2010 by Julie Zuckman of Florence. Membership from 2010 – 2012  was free and the group had no formal structure, while meeting regularly to learn and share.  From 2012-13, the group was in hiatus.

In 2013, a group of new dedicated members, including Nicole Williams, Tess Poe, and Lee Sproull took on the task of reactivating the group and meeting National’s new chapter requirements.

We are a group who shares a love of modern quilting, sewing, textiles, and design.
