This past weekend I completed a quilt based on the common saying, “I wish I were a fly on the wall when…”. In my current position, that saying seems to creep into many conversations. Often I’m part of making decisions that affect others and fortunately or sometimes unfortunately I’m not present when the those affected learn of the decision. That’s when the saying gets shared.
This quilt is done in a pop art style using a technique learned from Ruth McDowell. The piecing is all straight seams, using freezer paper method for the piecing.
